Finding friends in the Heroes fandom

What's in your journal: right now? not a whole lot. organizational stuff, mostly, but i'd like to update more often. either about real life or fandom stuff.
What rating is your journal: uh. probably pg-13 right now, but it could definitely be r+.
Favourite Heroes character(s): peter petrelli, nathan petrelli, elle bishop, nikki/jessica strauss, micah saunders, noah bennet.
Favourite Heroes pairing(s): peter/claire, peter/elle, petere/nathan, nathan/nikki, older!micah/older!molly.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: writing, reading. my life's pretty dull, honestly.
Friending policy: my journal's friends only (with rare public entries) and will mostly be on a case-by-case basis, but i'm looking to add lots more people, so it's pretty open rn.
Where to add you: here on dw!
What you do in fandom: write fanfic, make icons/other graphics, rp.

Other comms you like: i actually haven't found many on dw aside from icon comms, so idk.

Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: photography, collecting way too many things (swords and I blame Highlander for that, dolls, and coins), reading, writing, video gaming, sports
Friending policy: Like I said, I only use my LJ to vent. If you don't mind and aren't out to start drama, I welcome you.
Where to add you: (lj, tumblr, dw, etc) LJ and or tumblr
What you do in fandom: I mostly watch but I write fic on occasion. I have more plot bunnies than anything.
Other fandoms you like: Harry Potter, Supernatural, Star Trek reboot, Being Human, Sherlock, Marvel, and various animes and mangas.
Other comms you like: mylar_fic, sylar_peter, lukexsylar, syloah, sullivanbros and gqmf_heroes
Anything else you'd like to share: I have all the seasons of Heroes and liked them. I just think some were better than the others. I don't think the show fully recovered after the writers strike. :(

What's in your journal: Mostly Petlar fanfic, but there's a little other Heroes fanfic in there, too. And then there's stuff about my take on feminism and occasionally there's real life posts.
What rating is your journal: NC-17. My fanfic is often explicit. I don't censor my language much. I discuss real life issues and I often have things that people might consider to be "too much information".
Favorite Heroes character(s): Noah Bennet. Angela Petrelli. You wouldn't know it from reading my fanfic though, which is almost exclusively Peter and Sylar. I thought Noah and Angela were the most interesting and coolest characters. I don't think I could ever write them as cool as I think they are.
Favorite Heroes pairing(s): Peter/Sylar, or Peter/Gabriel. I like a lot of other pairings, but I rarely read them.
Interests/Hobbies outside of fandom: Cooking, feminism, working, gardening, reading and becoming a better writer, science fiction and fantasy in general, my family, sex.
Friending policy: I friend anyone who is writing fanfic that I might want to read and therefor want to see come up on my flist; I friend people who are very active in the Heroes LJ fandom community so I can keep up with what they're doing; I'll friend anyone with whom I have personal discussions (and, again, I want to keep up with what they're doing). If someone friends me, I will only friend back if you appear to meet any of the three criteria above (or unless I'm in a weird mood). So if I fail to friend you back, please don't feel bad. Nearly all of my posts are public anyway. I use my flist to keep up with the news on people in the community - it is not a statement of who I like or dislike. If I defriend you, I will send you a PM first explaining why. I will not make rude public proclamations or create hurtful drama about it. So far I've only defriended when I've forgotten who people were and couldn't remember how they got on my flist in the first place.

What you do in fandom: I write Heroes fanfic and I write a crap-ton of it. I also beta read for Heroes as requested and occasionally I make posts about how to be a better writer.
Other fandoms you like: Star Trek, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Blake's 7, Fringe, X-Files, X-Men, Robocop, Aliens ... very general science fiction/fantasy. I don't follow events in hardly any of those, though. My life is pretty busy.
Other comms you like: The heroes ones. I don't have enough time to follow those of fandoms outside of Heroes.
Anything else you'd like to share: I'm really 'out there' in putting myself forward. I post a lot. I say a lot. If I read it, I'll probably leave a review/comment. I take up a lot of space and that bothers people sometimes. I am far from socially graceful, but I try - I really do. If you see me screwing something up, let me know. I try to take correction as well as possible.
